I ran this right off
I Challenge ‘ You’re Supposed’. Have you heard that Cardio alone isn’t sufficient?
I chose to jog these 7 lbs. tight off. My immediate goal was 205 lbs. You can get away with eating less (still healthy) and doing cardio, because mild cardio can be fueled by fat reserves. Conversely, higher intensity exercises become anaerobic and require dietary carbohydrates. So I dropped d0wn to ≈ 1,500 calories per day, focused on getting my protein and nutrients, and ran my 7 lbs. off.
Actual training requires stricter meal planning. Anaerobic excersice needs carbs pre workout and carbs/protein post workout. If your goal initially is to drop some quick weight, still eat healthy but sticking to cardio is a good way to do that.
Training means getting more of my good carbs pre-workout since it will largely be anaerobic. It also means I need both carbs and adequate protein post workout to provide what my muscles need to heal/grow. Since I’m shredding, or toning, the rest of my protein consumption along with healthy fats will be spread throughout my other meals.
I’m going to train 3x per week and do just cardio 2x per week moving forward
